Does anyone have one?  The hubby and I are thinking about getting the game system.  With the players physical interactive with the games, we think it would be good exercise for when we can't get out due to weather.

If you have one.......what do you think of it?

My son has one and he and my daughter play it.

It does promote some exercise.

I'd sooner recommend a real piece of exercise equipment
if that is your purpose though.

My oldest son has one and has all sorts of gadgets that go with it. I have no idea how much exercise it is. My grandson wants one for Christmas.

Hubby bought a Nordic Track Treadmill today.  Sort of, "Look what followed me home!".  I don't mind that he bought it, but he could have told me.   That brand is costly.  Oh well, he must walk at least 30 minutes twice a day for his diabetes, and with the time change (UGH!) starting Sunday and the weather being colder here than we're used to, he will benefit greatly from it.

I'll use it too, but I can't put it on the gradual up grade because of a bad foot.........so walking flat is still walking.

I still want a Wii game.......after the cost of his new 'toy', I think I deserve something too.

A friend of mine gave her husband the Wii sports pack console for his birthday back in April. She bought extra controllers and some other gadgets and a four controller charging station for it. He never opened any of it. They separated shortly after his birthday and are divorced now. So my youngest son bought everything from her for $400 so my grandson will be getting it for Christmas.

Sweetest thing on the market.
BUT

You can get at far cheaper prices specific game counsols that suit you.
Like them little hand held things you plug the red and white wire into your TV, for little ones.

Hi Stx,

I havent tried one myself but I work at a facility with a big rehab unit and the therapists use the wii system with patients. It has proven to be very popular and effective. The bean counters there have agreed it will be money well spent to buy a couple more. I hope this is helpful. Have a nice Thanksgiving. :-)
