So, what is the deal with Voices for America.  Their description says "unparalleled freedom of speech" and that is just blatantly dishonest.  The only people who have unparalleled free speech in there are the far right fundamentalist Christians.  I was kicked out for questioning why a guys sermons, with no discussion, were not posted on the religion or spirituality boards instead of the general board.  At least 3 people were kicked out for asking why I was kicked out.

They start baiting threads about athiests like "Why do atheists......." but then get angry and gang attack if an atheist answers.  They post threads that say all non Christians are going to hell and that any person with illness or disorder or conditon is a mistake so they are not going to heaven, they are not god's children.  They called a Jewish person a hater of christians and kicked her out.  They have a few whose only answers are Bible quotes but then they get mad if anyone questions their beliefs or their not thinking for themselves.  They say things like "God is a gentlemen"  and then quote how he will send people to hell and expect no one to questions that.

Now will someone tell me why that group should NOT be shut down?

I wasn't going to post here anymore but I would like to say that I truly am sorry to hear about Digger.  My condolences and sympathy to his family and loved ones.

I still want to know what happened to Voices For America.
I know it was not shut by MSN; I have had enough of my groups shut to know what they do.

T and others don't want to discuss it in State of the Nation as they think speculation will disrupt the group. I don't think it was someone's account being broken into. Somebody hit the Delete this Group button. So why are they not saying so?

Blessed be

That is one of my passports, but I stopped using it.  All my life, I've only had one person call me Sharon Ann and that is my oldest sister.  Even my other sister calls me Sharon.  When I created that passport, I couldn't use just Sharon, so I decided to add my middle name.  MSN gave me a set of numbers to go with it.  The problem was that people kept calling me Sharon Ann because that was my screen name.  It just didn't seem right for anyone but my big sister, Mary Beth to call me that, so I got a new passport without my middle name and msn issued me a new set of numbers.

Thanks Jeanne.  I think you're the one that Dovey and Digger talked about one time before she passed away.  They disagreed on that major issue but respected you a lot.  They both appreciated people who walked the walk and didn't just spout off.

It was a problem over 2 months ago in the old group.

I have looked at the some of the posts since the group was shut down by betrayers and split and restarted and I can see why people respect Sharon.  I can't see why they respect the betrayers.

It would be nice if people didn't try to stir it up again.  It's done.
