Just a thought but are we having one.......??? I know expectations are always high when it comes to the number of people who ACTUALLY turn up but we don't care about that. We always have a great time even if there is a small turnout. The main thing is that we give plenty of notice before hand so that those who want to go can, at least, plan other events around it! May I be the first to say........I'm going.....yay! |

Laurie, During the reunion I though all that racket was you playing the piano ~ however in retrospect it was a tad too tuneful to be you at the keys, and now that I know that it was you moving the piano, it all now makes sense!!!! |

Mike, The old road was effectively altered by the construction of the gym and the maths and science block. The net result was that it just moved round the back of these buildings and was then returned to its normal route. Nick. |

Hi Mike, Nice set of pics, I can vouch for the state of your eyes !! Interesting old 60's picture of the school. Where did you get it from ? If the original is about 6.5 inches by 8.5 inches it might have been taken by me, as at that time I was doing a lot of aerial photos with Mr. Phil. Also my own developing and printing using Kodak wholeplate paper. Also there will be no writing on the back of the print. Drives !!!!!!!! Matron is almost right about Drive 1 in your drive planner. This drive was "Closed Down" because the Quantock hunt used it and the horses and hounds came close to the school, plus Peaster hated the hunt. This was done I think before Matron came to the school. I think Richard Hope-Hawkins can verify this statement. Laurie |

Hi David, Nice pictures, but what is the connection between your good self and the class of 1990? Cheers, Nick. |

Matron Said that the photo was taken by Peaster just after he bought the place - I asked "he was flying and taking pictures" - she said "hrmmm I think so" There was a whole pack of the photos Mike |

Nick, A few years ago I tried to set up the member accounts a different way. It never really took off and so I abandoned it. However all these accounts still exist but are not being used, and still have all their storage space. I've run out of storage on MSN so I reactivated a few to put a few photos on the web site ......... mike (aka the phantom paw!!!)

Mike
What's that portrait001 pic you(?) have uploaded? There doesn't seem to be a caption or anything.
Can't tell for sure because it's only a small pic, but it looks like someone from my year, a guy called Pete Turner who was a top bloke.

Hi Bri, The photo comes from the Photo Archive which has a whole heap of portraits for sale to raise money for the Reunion Fund (and just to look at as well) - you can even help to name a few unknowns if you want - hold cursor over the picture for name!! The Chap in Question I believe is Julian Reed, <--- click to see a bigger picture, but I might be wrong !! I recently added the portrait photo to the community site when adding extra links to the QS Shop page. The Qunatock Shop has been mainly set up to help sell Warwick's Quantock DVD (4 sold in a week so far), with all money going to the Reunion Fund !! Get them whilst they are still hot, and before I sell out !!!!!!!!!!! m |
