The Meditation Method -
Stop immediately whatever you are doing and simply relax. Briefly disengage from all other activities, including conversation. -
Find a relaxing, yet focused position. Sit up straight, close your eyes, and even lower your head slightly. -
Breathe slowly. Don't force yourself to do so; the key is to breathe naturally. -
Relax and clear your mind. Don't think about anything else but being relaxed. -
Center your focus if you're having trouble clearing your mind. For example, count the lines of your finger print or think imagine yourself surrounded by complete silence. Visualize a clear and unblocked airway. This helps to relax your esophagus.
