There is a comfort in the passing years....

So many lessons learned along the way;

We find that disappointments...pain and tears

Are often followed by a shining day.

The strength ansd hope are found again, though sorrow

Has sapped the will and overwhelmed the soul,

So often that which lies in the tomorrow

Will heal and make the wounded spirit whole.

For over and above and all around us

Life still flows on, no matter what our pain,

The day is ours, to shrink from or to conquer;

And, facing it, we shall find peace again .
