When you have no one

To say good morning to

Or no one to say

I love you ..have a safe day

And in the afternoon no one

That will call. ..just to say I love you

And I’ll see you soon.

And in the evenings ..after a hard day

No one there just to hold you

And caress your weariness away

As you go to bed...and lay down your head

Look over at the empty pillow and

Remember.... the one that is not there

Tears slowly fill your eyes

Knowing ..no one is there

Wishing there might be

Someone who cares.
