I'll Listen Quietly
by: Hanoochi

Cry no more my friend in despair
I'll lend you a shoulder to cry on.
Anytime you need to talk,
I'll listen quietly with an open heart.

Dry your tears dear heavenly one,
there is a place for you.
The World is a much brighter place,
see, I have found a friend in you.

God smiles upon your forehead,
places sunbeams in your eyes.
Look around, see and hear
all that is in disguise.

The gentle whisper of the breeze,
the moon in the evening sky
and the smile upon your face
as you dry your weary eyes.

See the mountains stand so tall,
the birds that flutter by.
See the wonder in everything,
in all that lives and breathes,
nothing is ever too small.

Watch the sun set over the sea,
the miracle of life.
The friendship that you have with all
will carry you in your strife.

It's alright to cry my friend,
for life turns and sways.
Simply open your eyes and have faith
from somewhere deep inside.

The beauty of God, all in all,
He's there when you need him most.
He opens his arms and carries you on.
He's there when you need him most.

So cry no more my dear, dear friend.
I'll lend a caring ear.
Anytime you need to talk
I'll listen quietly with a tear.
