The Angel In Your Face

When I look into your eyes, knowing they are the window to the soul,
Amazed at how much love you have, making my life complete, so whole.
For all you have given me, in our times together,
Have taught me to always be me, openly and forever.
You have a way of exuding happiness and joy,
In your smiles, your singing and even when you act coy.
A lifelong gift of giving you share,
With everyone you meet, you always show that you honestly care.
I see an Angel in your face every time I look at you,
It’s in your eyes, your smiles, in everything you do.
I’m so humbled by the love you show me, and the support you give,
It’s because of you that I truly learned how to live.
For I was lost and broken before we met,
A crumbled heart, I thought I’d live with, to regret.
But you opened my heart like the petels of a rose,
Allowed me to understand love, and to so now it flows.
I absorbed it all like a sponge soaking up water,
Drinking it all in, thirsting for something better.
You fixed my heart, putting it back in it’s place,
All because I was able to see the
Angel in your face.
