The Span of Life In our youth you are not always aware Of the difficulties which lie ahead; But as time moves on, you come to find Your'e now older, and youth has sped.
In middle age the facts of life, Are more apparent day by day, And you ask yourself: "What have I done To help others on their way!"
Iv'e travelled Life's road a long, long way, And by now have come to know The joy of knowing a life long friend, And' ware the dangers in many a foe.
And I find as I come to my journey's end The satisfaction of life is this: The love and affection of so many friends, Giving comfort and joy and bliss.
