Hello all first off its been three years since this club has formed

I wish to thank everyone who has made and helped this club enjoy the success that it has

Lorne your support through all this even though you are far up north of us has been very much welcomed.

Leo your support and help has also been greatly apprciated.

Dana our Secretary has been instrumental in keeping us focused in the bumps we encountered along the way her motto helped enlighten the mood when chips where down and the club almost faltered and fell.

Thank you to my two founders and too Dana.

Also id like to thank you all for your support and membership in this club making the meetings fun again.

My tenure as President is over as the founders discussed 3 years ago Presidency was for 3 years as well as Vice president. Stan was removed in midterm and Leo stepped in to fill the void.

So that said Leo has put forth he would like to step down as vice president of the club. Lorne ,Leo and I have discussed and have agreed that we will nominate Dana as Vice president of the club.

If anyone would like to nominate someone for President feel free

There is also going to be a vacancy of Secretary so anyone wishing to either put their name down or nominate anyone speak now.

Next Meeting on November 20th will be voting day so I would like to see you all there.

All nominations for positions can be added to in the reply of this thread.

3 years eh? It doesn't seem that long ago but I remember it all too well. The ups, the downs, the highs/lo's. It's been such a fun ride. Can't wait to see what the future holds. And yes ... I'll echo all the sentiments of the thank you's to all who have been so actively involved. And Darry, you deserve a big thank you too so I'll get it in here. You've done so much and put up with so much ... applause to you my friend.

dang, I had this all typed out then hit Send and went to turn the pork steaks, came back and I had lost my connection. grrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm not sure if I have been intrumental in anything, but I know I can't go too long without having some fun. lol. And yes, sometimes I just say it like it is, but heck, we're not getting any younger and sometimes they need to be said to keep us on track and moving in a forward motion

Andy, it's so good to see you post! I'm not sure you'd work out well at being the treasurer, I'm thinking we would have a wee bit of problem getting the donuts for meeting night... ROFL. Oh, that reminds me, I need to email you with a small request, hopefully I'll do that later tonight.

I nominate Darryn to be president again and I also nominate Gary to be secr/treas.

I will also put my two bits in as well and see if I get any change back.

My nomination is for Darryn to be the master of ceremonies and for the Sno mouse to be the chief provider of the doughnuts. Also Gary for Secretary/Treasurer but he will have to do some work on his legs. They are just a bit too hairy.

As for secretary I can not really say as there are so many new members that I am not sure who to nomitate because I really do not know them all because I have missed so many meetings. By the way is there a meeting tomorrow Tues. November the 20, and if there is, is it going to be at Nait in the same room as before? I have to come into Edmonton tomorrow so I will come to the meeting if there is one. Depending on the roads of course. Yesterday It was like a skating rink out here. My son was here visiting us and he had too drive to McMurray yesterday (a three hour drive) it took him six hours and there were dozens of vehicles in the ditch on the way including three snow plows.

Anyway hope too see you all tomorrow.

Is the meeting for sure going to be at nait? And what time? I will have to see if I can make it or not. I am still at work and may have to stay late but just in case I don't make it I would vote Darryn as Presedent, Dana as Vise Presedent and secretary I would have to say I have no clue. Not sure on names(still new) but the lady that was always at the frmers mkt. I would have to vote for her. Thanks and I will try to be there!!!
