I bought mine at Future Shop for the $149 price and it comes with all the software for drivers needed and also came with Adobe Photoshop Elements and some other stuff.  It'll work GREAT with PSP ... although if you load Photoshop Elements I'd imagine you won't be using the PSP for too long.  LOL  Adobe is my preferred software for patterns and that was after I'd used PSP for a year, did a tutorial on PSP9 ... I'll never got back to it although it does have some features I use from time to time.
