                                                    Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa
                                                                   (1896-1957)

"it remembers, when you are tired, when not of you can just more, you do not have that from sporgerti on the sea and calling to me: I will be always them and your silks of sleep will be satiated."

...Lighea is nearly one extreme communication of the own vision of the world...

I like it very much. It's a work of high quality which shows an artistic maturity. It's a masterpiece of intense sentiment matched with a good balance between colour (your so warm orange getting in red) and figure.

And I'm stunned to see that you know the story of this Mermaid, written by Tomasi di Lampedusa in a tale that is both odd and not well known.

Ciao, Sandro
