Hey Folks, Here are the posters that I put together for a couple of events that I have coming up on August 6...........................

First Annual PSYKICK Event, the instruments will be didgeridoo, tongue drum,
djembe, congas, those big flat native drums ( whatever they are called ), chimes, gong, other things of the percussive persuation, and a few that I can't think of now. I want to create something surreal. We will be channelling the power of the cosmos, and inevitably changing the world .... without asking permission, what leftists we are!
And .....................

Here's where I have a chance to invite other local singers and musicians to
get on stage with my band and jam out for a few hours.

The Dow People Place is an open air stage on the downtown Sarnia waterfront, the city pays $200 for people to put together an evening of entertainment. In this case, as in previous years, there will be 15-20 people on stage. So, instead of sending the performers home with $5 each, halfway through the evening a pizza delivery guy shows up with enough food to give everbody a slice, performers and audience take
a break for 15-20 minutes to mingle and munch out.
..........................  Mike

Ehi, Mike!

Really nice the posters and the events's ideas are even better!

What a pity that I'm a bit too far to come and have part in.

Why not post here some pics of what you'll do there?

Ciao, Sandro

P. S. And the Latin night was a success?

Hey, thanks everybody for the thumbs up on the posters! I even have stilt walkers showing up for the PsyKick part of the evening. They will come in handy when the "power of the cosmos" decends on the crowd, since they ( the stilt walkers ) will be the first to be hit with it, and they can yell out "Here it comes!".  I'm going to have percussion instruments of all description, didgeridoo, gong, and a few more that I can't think of right now. If nothing else, it will be something that many people around here have not seen or heard before.
But I have to admit that I am being a little devious about the whole thing. After channelling the cosmos with vibrations from instruments and voices of all sorts, and announcing that those vibrations have broken through the "time barrier" and told people in the past that the wrongs they endure still exist today, I am going to unveil the real motive for putting on the PSYKICK event. Details will be posted next week, if I am not "driven out of town" by an angry mob.

Thanks for asking about the latin night Sandro! All went very well, the real stars of the evening were the patrons at the Blackwater Cafe...................
............ they rocked this way

and they rocked that way.....................

......... by the second half of the night, everybody was talking latin! Well, it certainly was sounding like latin, or greek, or something!
I have another date there on Sept 1, so I have to come up with another theme.
.............. Mike
