Well done, Race! It looks so beautiful. A not at all trivial painting. Have my best compliments! And yes, tell us more: what did you use? how big is it? on what? - Totem poles are a subject that always fascinated me but never I got good pics of them. Smiles, can you find some? Canada should be the place where they most are. Ciao |

I painted this picture quite a few years ago...maybe about 4 or 5 years ago...I don`t think I had any particular inspiration at the time,it just came about like a lot of my paintings they just evolve and usually remain unfinished..as i feel with this piece too...it could use some more work on it...on the other hand I like it as it is......I used watercolour paint,gold pen and black drawing pen,the diagonal lines are colour pencil....it`s about A4 size on regular sketch paper.
Totem Poles are fascinating I agree Sandro....very elemental and they touch the soul....
