Hey Folks, last weekend I put together the second annual Mud People Event at our beach on Lake Huron. We started out with a two hour sculptors gallery called "Mudders of Invention" using the clay that is available on the beach, then covered ourselves with the clay, danced and played african drums while photos and video were taken. I have most of the usable digital photos done, still wating for some regular films to be developed. The video is on my PC and being edited. Here's one of the shots from the day.........................

Artwork and video from last years event is at ........ http://home.cogeco.ca/~icemoon/TheMudPeople.htm
......... hope you like it! ............ Mike

Well done Mike.

Funny how something that most likely was so primitive, that stands firm in today's form of creation.

Thanks Everybody for your "Thumbs Up". Last week and weekend were extremely busy, two gigs plus the "day job", trying to stay focused on getting this project up online before moving on to the next one. That's the challenge sometimes, as some of you know, dotting the I's and crossing all the T's is not as much fun as the actual creation of the piece. Anyway, we'll keep plugging away! ............. Mike

I think it was some rock fest in Oz, can't find it now, but if you type "mud people" or something similar into google you'll get plenty ..

I trully agree. Excellent composition to the artist. As well the one above, with all of the feet in a semi-circle.
