Hey !! Well done minimdot I like the blue/yellow/green one very much, it has a lot of depth. What a difference a frame makes too, I like the colours in your hills. I did two small pieces which I felt were good enough to go on my bedroom wall and the frame does make a lot of difference. I am glad that you enjoyed the lesson, I would like to go to more classes and learn other techniques. And yes practise is the key. Did you see on the Encaustic gallery that some people can actually do portraits ? Amazingly talented eh ? Post more please |

Thank you smiles i will look into the portraits later.as i to am not good at the drawing will keep sketching you never no could come up with a master piece ,will send more pic's later .so much fun to be had with this encaustic art. |

I had a look at your album and I'll say that the first encaustics you have done are a good start. And you seem to enjoy the tecnique too, that's brilliant. I'll see with big pleasure all the next works you'll show to us. If I may suggest I think that could be better if you, after have posted in the album, show them directly in the post. You can do it easily, just using the command above that seems a postcard with a stamp. Ciao |
