Well, this is may take a bit of time (Excuse the Pun)

Breathtaking, funny, whimsical, horrific, thought provoking, dramatic, poignantly sad, you could pretty much apply every adjective in the english dictionary to this Film. A truly awe inspiring trip into abstraction that grips you and wont let you go.

I loved this the first time I saw it, but I did not really understand why. I have now watched it 5 or 6 times and I still dont fully comprehend it. It is a rare piece that generates discussion, because it is so open to interpretation.

Personally I think this film is about love and self sacrifice, above all stands the performances by a cast who applied themselves to their art with dedication and care that really comes through on the screen.

The 80's soundtrack brings back a multitude of memories for those of us who were teens in those days and makes us realise that while many things about the 80's were highly embarrassing, there were also some things that were undefinably cool. I still love Head over Heels by Tears for Fears, a truly great song.

Watch this film, if you watch no other film ever again. It had knocked off the top spot Highlander as my favourite film of all time, which is no mean feat. Watch it and enter this discussion.

Tat movie is very dissappointing ! The acting was good, i have to say but other than tat there was no story to it. Jake scared me when he smiled (Not scared in the Halloween kind of way)

I liked the film, thought it was well-done ,thought -provoking etc, and I have no problem with works of art being 'open-ended',( heck all my paintings are.)However I suspect that the film -although intreguing- is ultimately empty.
