Is CF moving to multiply or not? I have read your message Iced saying your not going to use Multiply, but now I have another email from you asking me to join it. The first one a couple of weeks ago didnt work, but now another one has arrived. I have setup an account on there but not yet joined the CF site as you said your were dumping it. I must admit I'm not very keen on multiply as a first impression, and not happy with MSN either for messing things up. Rather than closing groups, they should have enhanced them. I wonder what the windows live groups will be like.. anyone know yet? Stu |

Hi Stu Ignore the Multiply invite please. I have not sent anymore since the very first few I sent when I first created the group. I really think Multiply is nothing more than a spammers heaven  I have posted a 'note' on the multiply site saying I am closing it. I now have working links to the Crazy Friends Forum group on these What's New page and Welcome page. So many of our members have still not replied to my mass msn email telling them that CF is closing. I do hope they come back here to save any of their postings, poems, artwork etc as I can not possibly save all of it on my pc See you in the forum  |

I've also received an invite to join Multiply, but am now really confused as to whether I should become a member. I am really sad about Crazy Friends closing and would like to continue posting on a similar site. I really just want to confirm how Crazy Friends is going to continue, after closing on MSN. PLease help! Candy Girl |

There is a site I have found called myfamily.com which is really meant for family tree groups. I have a family tree group on MSN which I have moved to myfamily.com (maually) because its is very much like msn in the way it operates. It has message boards, photo albums, document storage, etc etc. You can create custom pages as well. In fact its the most like MSN I have found but better. And you get up to 100mb each for storage, a lot more than on MSN. I know I sound like I'm trumpeting this site, but having used it for a week or so, it really works well. Although its aimed in the first instance at family tree groups, it actually can be used for any type of group. It may be worth a look. Stu |

The new Crazy Friends site is up and running and just waiting for more of our present members to join it. Go to this link and register. We are not going to Multiply site it has been deleted. I have posted about our new site on our What's New page and our Welcome page. |

Just to reinterate what Iced says the link above will lead you to the NEW CRAZY FRIENDS. This is the group we are going to settle with.
In my view the layouts are better than the msn one. So if you haven't done so already follow the link and join us :) |

I think we all need to show appreciation for Iced hard work at getting this new site working. Ive had another go with it and posted some messages and managed to post a picture too. There is certainly a lot more effort required in posting anything more than simple black text, and it seems we are going to need to learn how to use HTML tags to pretty it up. So I can see why this is taking time Iced, your doing a great job with this. One thing it seems to lack though is photo albums. I think our pictures will have to be stored some place else. Stu |
