Thanks Lab for the Iceburg photographs. Maybe i should ask if you live close to the coast or further inland?

Iceburgs have surprised so many, considering we only see one third of them above the waterline, and that two thirds floats below. The Titanic sure found that out in i believe it was 1915. Ya, all that great "pure water" for the Russian Vodka, no doubt.

My personal favs in this group are "A Foggy Day," which would tell me, that it must have been a very very very cold day, to see the fog raising from the ocean. Just appears so very mysterious with a darkened horizon, yet to see how the light gently touches it's crown shall i say.
Just below the photograph of the gentleman sitting at the end of the wharf, you have given us one, in which it appears, the way the light seems to touch the iceburg, gives it so much life. I have no doubt it is difficult to capture one from the shore, and truly draw attention to it's beauty. If one has an opportunity, to observe one in the water, from different angles, i have no doubt, one could capture, even more beauty, as each one is completely and undoubtably original.

Thanks for sharing these with us.

One imagines that you must be in good shape, if you are rowing across the river. With no electricity, do you have a generator for your home and pc? Just curious
