Pieman I have a request, from a friend of mine. He is a Dylan fan from way back, and it is understood that he has a new album out. My friend would love to listen to a clip of his music before he decides whether or not to purchase it. If you have a website, that has such a clip, I and he would most certainly appreciate it. Thx in advance my friend. |

Smiles, tell to your friend really to listen to Dylan's new album before eventually to buy it. I did of three tracks and found them boring. The only good thing appeared to me that is in any case a good new that Bob Dylan is still writing songs. Ciao ( thank you all for the sites, I'll look them with calm ) |

Just discovered Google do really good videos - get a bigger pic on your screen than the vidocodezone link, here's Coldplay doing 'Fix You' - love him doing that sprint down the road & those stage pyrotechnics too |

If you happen to be a Pink Floyd fan, when you open the site, click on "Echoes" and when it opens click on the top of the list. I sat here for about 3/4 of an hour just watching, and listening, to video and audio, of how they did a number of different, very dramatic stage shows. Was incredible. Have a look. |

oh dear oh dear looks like the music industry has has enough of the Russians giving us cheap downloads and are going to give us a hard time for using the net as a marketplace cos they can't actually get at the Russians for the time being. must say I use one of those sites (tho not that one) and thought since I pay for the downloads (& pay more than that article states) that it was legal, but 'legal' seems to be defined by how much money music companies can make out of downloads. hmmm |

interesting conversation with son and he reckons an album actually costs only about 70p to produce, the rest is marketing and distribution etc. 70p is roughly what it costs to download an album from the Russian site, so we reckon they'd have a hard time suing anyone that has paid the basic amount for the music. |
