Wicked Life can be wicked, When you sin, For when you sin, The nightmare begins, There are so many rules to follow, So much sorrow, And pain waiting for tomorrow, For I have walked life's winding road, I have listened, obeyed orders: Just done as I'm told, For this soul is wicked, One of the damned, Where I suffer, At Satan's hands, For he is a frightful beast, So cruel and nasty, As on me he feasts, I am a lamb to the slaughter, I am eaten alive, I have lost everything, Including my pride, I wish I were a lion, Who would attack without thought, But I am a lamb, Who has been caught. He gouges at thy eyes / He wickedly pulls thy ears / He encourages your lies / He exacerbates your fears / He revels in your torture / He laughs merrily when you fall / Do you really think he ought to? / Does he care he makes your skin crawl? Does he give you a moment's peace? / Does he stay away from your dreams? / Does your misery ever increase? / He does not (or that's the way it seems..... ). |
