Dear Ed my true friend

Although you are gone

The spirit of your life

Still carries on

 

Your friendship and love

Touched everyone, everywhere

You encouraged and inspired

But most of all you cared

 

A man so full with happiness

With great pleasure to have known

The times we spoke and shared a laugh

With the friendship we had grown

 

I’ll miss you for the smiles you gave

I’ll miss you knowing we were to meet

I’ll miss you for the trust we had
