If you knew my past, would you glance my way?
If you knew my secrets, would you give me time of day?
If you knew my thoughts would you understand?
If you knew my love, would you take my hand?
If you knew my hate would you turn in fear?
If you knew my true self, would you shed a tear?
If you knew my passion would you share my dream?
If you knew my shadow, would you run and scream?
If you knew my soul would you trust a dance?
If you knew my heart would you take a chance?
If you knew my love would you hold on tight?
If you knew my mind, would you fight my fight?
If you knew my unspoken words would you want to listen?
If you knew my unshed tears would your eyes glisten?
If you knew the pain I felt would you share my sorrow?
If you knew my fragile state, would you give me strength to borrow?
If you knew all there was to know would you still say hello?
If you knew all there was to know, would you still be here tomorrow? |
