Throughout our lives, we meet ppl that may not necessarily wish to agree, with the principles we lay before us. To each, they may be strong, and to other's possibly not understandable, but life goes on, and patching up the woes, will only make life more comfortable for all. The more we understand other's, the more open minded each of us becomes.

Pieman - I do agree but it's also too short for missed oppurtunities.  A balance must always be struck (although in my case it's more like chucking myself from 1 extreme to the other!)

There was a woman were I last worked who I'd always avoided because I thought she was giving me dirty looks.  When I finally got round to talking to her (on my leaving do) she was absolutely lovely.

She just had one of those unfortuneate faces that perpetually look like they've been smacked in the mouth with a wet kipper!
