Two paragraphs was enough for me. That "is" taking art, right off the cliff isnt it? What in God's name is next?

I didn't feel like reading the article.  The photos were enough.

I don't like the exacthalfshark, I don't like the similarly-treated calf and I don't like these rabbits/quails/etc..

That's not art...it's exploitation and Borglike assimilation.

It's sick through and through.

as a member of the animal kingdom i wonder what this Artist would think on the death of human animal being used to further her bizar art works,I phrase it this way as I beleve that an animal has the same rights as any human being, children and adults alike send there dead animals to the next world.and treat them with respect.these are my feelings on the subgect.

I have to agree with ya Minimdot. So very true.

I mean where do ppl get off on this kind of crap? Is this what entertainment is coming to in the future. I would surely hope not.

Hmmm interesting thought Pieman. Oh and I wonder where she would be holding her purse, in this maybe original, but terribly ugly piece of art?

I didn't like Damien Hirsts half cow but it at least made me think about the unexpected intricate beauty of something you think would be just gross.  It made me think that with all our pretensions to superiority over animals, you cut us in half we're just a bag of bones & organs too.

It made me think about death and the nature and purpose of art.

This lady's stuff just made me think she wanted somewhere novel to hang her keys!!

Perhaps I'm being unfair, I've never gone out on a limb to do something to make the world change the way it thinks.  From what she says she wants us to stop treating animals as commodities. A nice thought but probably not possible in a world where even humans are just a set of preferences and credit card numbers!

Still damn ugly and tremendously creepy though.  She should stop doing this straight away and stop belabouring the point!!!!

Most definitely stop straight away, so we can all walk "up" the road, instead of "down" the road. You agree?
