Was watching 60 Minutes last night and an interview with a now, well established writer, and his thoughts, of what Florida has turned into. Hmmm Might surprise you. Scroll to the right and have a look at the video. That in his opinion, is what Florida presently is. Again hmmm.

Yes, but of course, they have to have a commercial before the interview.

I can see why many bad things find their way to Florida. Alot of drugs often come into the country thru Florida,,,,,,,,,,since the ocean and the gulf of Mexico surround 3/4 of the state.

The Miami Commissioner who was charged and convicted of criminal offenses, was re-elected after he was indicted. That is just the stupidity of the people. Reminds me of the Mayor of Washington DC (I think it was) who was using drugs, was caught, went to prison........came out and entered political life again. ( meaning he was re-elected by the people ) Corrupt, corrupt, corrupt!

And I know there are weird people down in some of the keys but never heard about the whole state like this author/columnist states lol. I do see that he lives in the keys too lol. No wonder!

He is a native of Florida and has watched much of the land disappear with "growth and development". But that is happening everywhere unfortunately!! it's sickening. Also he doesn't like all of the people moving down there. He can complain,,,which I'm sure I would too, but there is nothing he can do.

Some funny stories about ppl he's written about in that article. Thanks Smiles
