In today's world, not anything like the one I was raised in, is nowhere near the same. There is so much more friction, so much more easily brought forth, some by those that just dont care or give a dam, but I believe, more by those that may be ignorant of a situation, or an individual's feelings, about a certain topic.

We see everyday on the telly, the results of war, or of how many more, were illiminated, by those that are supposedly on the other side. They are there for a reason. It is my belief, that they do not wish to be disturbed by other nations, with possibly alterior motives.

I remember very well, when I was a young fella, the sight of blood, made my tummy turn, and it seemed, that the producers of television programs, did not wish that either, to take place, to the percentage of their viewing audience, so they limited it considerably. In today's television, you not only see blood, in so many ways, but as well, many dead bodies. "The audience will get used to it over time."

Now you see the youth of our socalled "civilized" society, getting a rush out of doing some pretty grusome things, and not caring of the outcome, or of who may by hurt, or for that matter killed. Where are we going and what will the next generation be like?

Is life becoming more and more worthless? You see everyday, criminals that use so many different methods, to accomplish their goal, and if it means killing or maiming an individual, well so be it, as long as they reach their goal. What does that tell ya?

As well, you see, so many more ppl being used and killed or just killed off for the rush of power. Life is slowly becoming more and more, worth less and less, to many higher ups, in foreign countries, not necesssarily the countries we live in, but then again right?

It would seem obvious to me that we, or our world society as a whole,, are "becoming" more and more, less caring about our neigbours, and more and more about, only ourselves.

As each one of us, each day of each month, of each year, observes all of these local and world events, are our sensativities, becoming less and less, or possibly more and more worthless, to each other, or is it, only to those that wish, to make more and more money, from the continuous growth of, what could be called, in some areas, a worthless society around the world? That's only for those that are continuining to make bundles of money from those they look at as worth a great deal less.

Think about this. Which is worth more to you, love, caring, and compassion, or owning those, that love, care, and are compassionate?

There ARE still many who care.

A little plate-thingy came into the B.H.F. [which I've rejoined] today, showing a foxhunt motif.

I took it to the Assistant Manager, hiding it behind my back at first.

I asked her, "We don't sell fur, do we?".  Her face fell immediately, with disgust and negativity and it was so good to see [I'd say 'heartwarming', but being a vampire..., ho-hum].

I asked her, "We don't sell corpses, do we?" [as in trophied heads; taxidermied creatures; tusks; etc.; etc.].  She said, "No".

I knew those answers.  I worked in the B.H.F. from 1995-2002, but I didn't care after seeing her horrified face.  It was so wonderful.

People do care.  Japan can go ***k itself over it's whaling attitude, though.

Yes Stripey, I know that there is a percentage of ppl that care, and many of the members here, are very much, a part of that percentage, but would you say that percentage is slowly weakening?

From my obervations, with no disrespect meant to our membership, it would appear, that many ppls of the world, are becoming to a degree, either less and less or more and more sensative to events that take place, and there are more and more sensative ppl out there, that wish to make themselves heard, and will go to just about any extreme to accomplish that.

Now, if we become more and more open minded, toward the sensative and or ignorant individuals, will the world not become once again, more and more enhanced?
