I saw the trailer for the programme and unfortunately missed it. I did hear her barking and it made a shiver run down my spine. Very very weird, and something that you couldn't quite get your head around. A girl barking, and running on all fours, wearing a tshirt and shorts? The whole thing about how she was neglected and lived with the dogs and what has become of her now, is quite a fascinating story. Fascinating as in holding your fascination, but not in condoning it. I also admit (with some honesty I think), that stories like this make me want to find out exactly what happened, and how. A prurient kind of curiosity that gets fed by TV programmes exactly like this. |

Events the same as described, take place in our society, although we dont hear of them until publicized. If placed in an environment, not normal to our existance, the influence of our surroundings, gives the life we are living within it, a truth, even if that truth is a faslity to the norm. Those that, for what ever reason, are placed within that influence, even if their appearance is not similar, take on and learn the habits and priorities of that species. We, upon it being pubicized, find it shocking, but if we place ourselves, within that environment, or place ourselves in the shoes of the wearer, most probably would, act and be the same, as what we observe to be the truth. We, in our lives, cannot imagine, walking on all fours, let alone barking, although it has taken place, most probably, more than we have been made aware of. I truly hope, that this young lady, over time, is able to recognize where she has been, and what she now must relearn, to be in the norm, or the society she was originally borne. Yes it is shocking, but I'm sure she will have a great deal, to contribute to our society, that we may not have been originally aware of. |
