Basic MSN Tools
These are the Basic MSN Tools that newbees need to know about, and be familiar with.
Paste. Your basic tool for just about any program. One of the most important tools on this page. Other forms of paste:
-CTRL + V = Paste
-On the top left-hand corner-Edit, Paste
Another Important tool. Copy. Other copy shortcuts include Edit, copy, and CTRL + C.
Your cut tool. The final basic one. It's other shortcuts are Edit, cut, and CTRL + X.
This tool Makes your highlighted Text Italic. If you don't highlight any text, then you will write in Italic from then on.
This tool Bolds your text. If you don't highlight any text, then you will write in bolded from then on.
This is the underlining too. It underlines any current highlighted text. Any text written after this tool is turned on will be underlined too.
This is the font tool. Highlight any text that you want to make a different font. Now click on this button. It will bring up a menu with 9 Basic, commonly used fonts on it. (Except for Webdings. I have no idea why MSN put Webdings in there.) 
If you do not see a font on the list that you like, click on the "Other Font" caption. This action will bring up IE User prompt.

From here you can type in any standard font to use on your page. ou can go into Microsoft Word if you can't think of a font that you would like to use. Or we have a standard windows fonts list that you can use by clicking here.
This is the tables tool. You can learn all about making tables, and how they work by clicking Here. This is a tutorial for making and experimenting with tables. If you are a newbee, I suggest you will learn a lot on this page.
This is the link tool. You can learn how to make a link by clicking here. It's a very informative tutorial on making picture links, and making text links. This is the divider button. When clicked, it will generate a standard divider that will auto-fit your page.
You can choose you basic Paragraph format by using this icon.
This icon is used for inserting photos into your message, page, etc. To use it, click on it, and select where you want to locate your images from.
This is the page that pops up at first. It shows you all of the pictures that you own online, and all of the pictures that belong to your groups. If you click on one of your groups, it shows you a list of all of the photo albums in that group. Simply click on any of the photos (It will show you a red frame around the photos that you have already selected) and click "."
This picture shows what the Uploading window looks like when you upload a photo off of your computer. When you click browse it will pull up your photo album on your computer. Double click on a picture, then click, "."
These are your basic indenting and un-indenting toolbar buttons. Click them to indent or un-indent your sentence.
Highlight a word, and click on this button. This will give you a color chart: 
Double click on the color you want chosen, and it will change the highlighted text to that color.
This tool will change your background color to a basic solid color. 
Like the previous tool, this will bring up a dialog box with a color chart inside it. Double click on a color, and your entire page will be changed to that color you picked.
These are basic MSN emote-icons. 
Click on any of the little icons to put them on your page.
Other tools:
Create a bulleted list.
Create a numbered list.
Right Align your text with your page.
Center your text with your page
Left Align your text with your page
Font size will bring up this box:
Click on the text size you want your text to be, and start typing. If you have any highlighted text, then that text will be the size you chose.
