I need to rant

My pc has been working perfectly after being sort of serviced and a TV card and cd rewriter installed and the ungrateful little swine has now decided to keep crashing for no reason whatsoever and I've downloaded every flaming update thing I can think of and rung a helpline costing five million quid a minute and deleted ticks in boxes and it still does it!!!!!!!!!

I think he's <note the gender of my pc...has to be really> just upset cos I keep winning Freecell and put a girly screensaver on with tinkly music n stuff

Thank you for listening

Ok lets see what is happening here, you say it keeps crashing, are you getting an error message ?
If so what is it ? Write it all out and post it here.
We will get our techy folk on it.

mmm niiice....so anyway...

This is what usually happens.
I boot up, it crashes after a few minutes and reboots* with the message

" you have failed to shut down correctly etc etc"

it reboots itself and does the same after another few minutes.

During the day this happens up to maybe four times?

It has been suggested I have a corrupt driver  dunno what my car has to do with anything..

I'm getting very very annoyed <muttered through gritted teeth> and may have to send him to his Uncle Steve round the corner who will rip his guts out and hook him up to a really dead ard flat screen who'll ridicule the stoopid screensaver and his stoopid MP3 collection and laugh at his mum who writes crap in strange places and..and...and....

ach! I'm fed up with this...I'm going back to bed!!!

* I'm showing off using phrases like booting...I call it blacking out screen....oh shit I'm waffling

Kyle. I am normally tolerant of people who cannot read very well or follow simple instructions, but in your case I'm going to make an exception.
As you cannot read the CLEAR message sent to you in your welcome notes, posted on several places in this site, and an MSN 'cool feature' not one of ours, I feel that your first posting in here after several months as a member, plus you inability to talk to me in anything but UPPERCASE ( thats big letters) Kyle, in MSN messenger, plus the fact that our members don't want to read your abuse, and threating to kill me just puts you at the end of a long list. means that it's time we put you out of your misery and banned you.
Bye Kyle

Jibbs,
I fear a corrupted driver or more likely a corripted or missing file are the problem here  . It looks like you will have to get a man in   .
Seriously ripping the guts out should not be necessary, but if you are stuck mail me and I'll send you the number of my guru, ok ?
Good Luck
Course if your comp is down you can't mail me or read this LOl.

sorry but I'm still here...      <head revolves 360 degrees with blinding toothy grin>

something for you to answer tomorrow Ocker, when your head is creaking as you walk and you feel like your skin is shammy leather and your legs ache <well mine do when I'm hung over..strange that..>

I've accepted that I will have to hand coins of the realm over to Uncle Stevie to sort it out,but tell me something...if I have corrupted files or corrupted driver, how did it happen?

Just like to know these things

Corrupted files and or drivers are usually caused by the deep flange process server comimg into contact with philodecimator. This causes a ram doubling effect that backs up winemx ini files in your deep shaft exterminator and causes a major file dissemination in your grain solo. Once this has happened Windows trys to back up the files by manually writing to your exe back up files in the thermolode, but dearie me, too late the anti compressor unit kicks in and the klangy microprobe goes off at a tangent. Bye now only extreme use of the purging of the exe bat files can remedy the situation unless of course you have backed uop your files on a CD  ( we recommend anything by Simply Red).

Crashing like this can be caused by many things. difficult to pin it down.
Can you remember precisely if you installed anything just before these problems started. If so then un installing it may help (emphasis on 'may') .
There is an MSN community called Computer interested types which I have had help from a few times so maybe worth a question there too.

That certainly clarified that up  hehehe
Jibbs, I wonder if you have you tried giving it some Carling Black Label ?
It's supposed to reach the parts that can't be reached

NB: IF YOUR FILES OR DRIVERS ARE LESS THAN 18 YEARS OLD, THEY CAN BE CORRUPTED BY STRONG LANGUAGE OR BY DOWNLOADING PORN FROM THE INTERNET.
