With my last problem catching the trojans, although that has now been solved, by downloading Windows 2000, I now have a problem, in which any song I play on my Winamp, the voices sound "higher" than they should normally be. Does anyone have an answer for this? Is rather frustrating to say the least, as I would like very much to get a DVD player, but that too would be affected |

n-joy, I have done what you instructed, and have updated drivers, but when I got to "Media Control Devices Properties" (MCD) Quick Time for Windows, and clicked on Properties, the following message was revealed to me. "Cannot load the (MCI) Quicktime for Windows driver. The driver file may be missing. Try installing the driver again, or contact you system administrator. Got the same under Quicktime for Windows. I have as well, updated where allowed. As well, when it came to Video Codecs Properties, the message came as follows, " Cannot load the MimicICM.DLL driver. The file may be missing. Try installing the driver again, or contact your system administrator. Everything else in that neigborhood seems to be enabled and functioning properly according to the properties viewed. |

I should also mention, that the above problem was taking place even before I downloaded Winamp. Hmmm |

n-joy, after restarting my pc, I put a Simon & Garfunkel cd in, with hopes that I would hear a normal level of voices. Hmmm same thing, their voices are much higher than normal. Well i will try your link and see if that improves my situation |
