I think striving for the quality of gentleness as we go through our life.    I like people to be gentle with me, and tolerant.  Children always seems to react and even obey more when gentle persuasion is used.   It is more than that though- Gentleness leads to peace in the soul.  It is an inner way of being and living.  I think if we work to leave the harshness our of our relationsips, and everyday outlook, and try to see things in a postive way, our lives will start to unfold in a whole new way.  A better happier way.

But what if we have to fight for our selves in some way?  Can we advocate for ourselves in a gentle way?   Can you be a leader and be gentle?   I think so.  I think if we learn to use the right words, keep in our minds and hearts that respect is a mutual affair, we can learn to persuade - like we do with with children- only in a more sophisticated way- we can get the job done.   Jesus influenced million and continues to do so by his gentle ways, but strong words.

What is one of your spiritual qualities that you are working for?

Hi Sendosha,

I love talking about this stuff.

Acceptance definitly is a spiritual quality.  We don't have to like or agree with everyone, but imagine if all the world's people just worked together for the common good, and respected each other.

On the "I can't"  issue how about forcing yourself to say "I can".   When you do you will feel self gratification and pride.  I bet you'll get energized to do even more.
I don't know if you believe in God, but I do.  When I am in doubt I always ask God for Grace, wisdom, strength and resources to do what I need to do.  He always answers.
If you dont' believe in God- then ask your higher self, and while your at it open yourself up more  to reccieve love and give love. You can't get too much of that lol

Blessings
