Preparation: Be able to acheive a relaxed state, phyiscally and emotionally,. If you like, listen to some bery soothing, calming music. If you want, keep pen and paper nearby.
Steps:
1: When you feel relaxed, pick one positive quality you would like to bring into your life. It might be something such as love, compassion, joy or peace.
2: As you think of the quality, imagine how many ways you could experience it in your life. How would feeling that way change your life? What would you do differently if you had more of that quality? How would it change your relationships to other people?
3: Hold the images and thoughts clearly in your mind for as long as you can. Try this for atleast 5 minutes.
4: Watch the intruding thoughts that come up about unrelated topics. If they are important and you need to remember them, jot them down so you can let them go from your mind.
Also try to repeat the exercise focusing on an object such as a flower, crystal or any object you really like. Observe the object--noting its color, size, and detail--for atleast 5 minutes without intruding thoughts.
Evaluation: Notice how long you are able to hold a focus. Five minutes is a very good start. If you cannot hold this focus for at least 5 minutes, start with a minute every day for a week or so, until you can stay focused for at least 5 minutes at a time. When you can go on from 5 minutes or longer you are ready for the next one.
LIFEFORCE & ENERGY
Goal: When channeling, you need to sense the presence of your guide at a feeling, intuitive level. Sensing the subtle vibrations of life-force energy begins to open your awareness.
Preparation: Be able to relax, and have mastered concentrating for at least 5 minutes, as in the Holding a Focus and Concentration exercise. Prepare yourself in the same way as in the same way as the other exercies. Find a time which will be uninterrupted and a place where you will be undisturbed. Have crystals and flowers within easy reach. Atleast 2 crystals preferably real quartz and amethyst. Sidenote: Use any one you feel connected too!
2 flowers of any kind that you may touch.
Steps:
1: Find a comfortable position, relax your body, quiet your thoughts, calm your emotions. Let yourself have at least 2 to 3 minutes to relax. Imagine calling all of your energy back to yourself from everywhere in the universe. Imagine letting go of anyone else's energy that you have taken on and sending it upwards.
2: Take one of the crystals in your right hand. Send out your welcome to the crystal. Feel its perfect pattern. Imagine that each crystal has a special type of energy that can amplify something good for you. Really sense the energy in this crystal. Mentally ask the crystal about its purpose. See if you can put words to what you are sensing. Give the crystal at least 2 to 3 minutes of your attention.
3: Put that crystal down and pick up the other crystal. Do the same thing with this one and notice any differences you sense between the crystals. It may feel as if the energy is coming from your imagination. That is as it should be. Notice that you CAN sense energy at this subtle level.
4: Put the crystal away and pick up one of the flowers or touch one of the plants. Greet this flower or plant and get to know it. Notice how you are able to feel its aliveness, its energy. Spend at least 2 or 3 minutes sensing and greeting it.
5: Put it down and pick up the other flower or touch the other plant. Greet this flower or plant and get to know it. Notice how you are able to feel its aliveness, its energy. Notice the differences in energy between the two flowers or plants.
6: Come fully out of trance, stretch your body, open your eyes.
7: As you recall your insights, fill yourself with the convicition that you are easily able to sense the subtle energies of other life forms. Recall as many of the qualities and differnces in the life-force of the crystals and flowers as you can.
Evaluation: If you are able to sense these subtle vibrations, even slightly, even if it feels like you are just making it up, that is good. Then you are ready to go to the next exercise. If you can't sense anything, repeat the exercise at other times until you can!
Goal: To find the posture and position that helps to best support your trance and allows you to reach and harmonize with higher spiritual levels.
Preparation: Have completed the Attuning with Life-Force Energy exercise, and have a basic ability to relax and hold a focus. Wear loose clothing and sit in a comfortable upright sitting position, either on the floor or in a chair. Sit straight. If you are on the floor, you may want the support of a pillow under your butt.
Steps:
1: Close your eyes and begin to relax your body, calm your emotions and quiet your mind. Spend at least 2 or 3 minutes relaxing and queiting your thoughts. Call any energy you have scattered out in the universe back to yourself.
2: Imagine that you are going to take a journey upwards into the higher realms of light and love. Ajust your energy so that you begin to feel yourself in a high spiritual space. Use whatever images help you sense that special feeling. Imagine a moment under the stars, or remember the feeling of spiritualness you have in a church or temple. Connect with whatever takes you into a higher space and allow you to feel more at one with the God-within.
3: Go with the flow of that mood. You may want to adjust your position. Experiment with slight movements of your face, neck, and shoulders. Discover which positions allow you to feel more expansive and think in higher ways. Take a deep breath into your upper chest. Notice how your posture shifts and how your head comes into a different position. Let your head feel as though it is floating. It can be tilted slightly forward or back, right or left. Play with the angle of your head. Let your thoughts slow down. Let you stomach relax. Notice how some of the smallest movements in posture or position produce large changes in how you feel.
4: Experience your inner senses. Listen through all of your senses. Notice that some of your internal chatter and busyness is going away. Notice also that you are more aware of your suroundings of the room, the sounds, smells and energies. Let that awareness boost you higher.
5: Notice your breathing. Let your hands and your wrist relax. You may even tingle a bit and grow warmer as you begin to open the channel to a higher energy. Let yourself open to the higher realms beyound the earth plane. Imagine all the cells in your right-brain your recieving mind, reflecting perfectly the higher energy flowing from your right-brain into your left-brain, your conscious mind, with perfect precision and clarity. Observe your mind as if it were a clear mountain lake reflecting the higher realms. Spend a few minutes absorbing this higher vibration.
6: Go as high as you can with your mind. You may feel a sense of love and compassion that is greater than usual. Let yourself feel centered, balanced, loving and open. Experiment with coming in and out of this space. Notice how your body follows the change. Note how you can influence this feeling directly and spontaneously with your thoughts.
7: When you have explored some of what is possible from this space, come back into the room, fully present and alert.
Practice being in this channeling space in varying circumstances and places. Learn to identify those times during the day when you might be in a spontaneous channeling space: concentrating on the solution to a problem; pouring out love to someone. Do not let any certain posture or set of circumstances become a ritual. Learn to establish a good link or channeling state under all kinds of circumstances.
Evaluation: If you were able to get a greater than normal sense of love and compassion or an expansion feeling from this exercise you are ready for the next step. If you found it difficult you may be making it more complicated than it is. Relax, let go of your thoughts about what is should feel like and work with this exercise again......AT your own pace!
Goal: This is to welcome you to the guides realm and to enable you to gain a conscious impression of your guide you will be channeling.
Preparation: Have completed Attuning with Life-Force Energy and Trace Posture and Position exercises. If you found some music that helps you in your previous exercises, go ahead and listen to it again during this time.
Steps:
1: Get into your trance posture; make sure it is a comfortable position with your back erect. Become aware of your breathing. Close your eyes and begin to take a few deep breaths. Enter into the trance state you have practiced.
2: Imagine yourself going higher and higher, and entering into a higher dimension of love, light and joy. Imagine yourself being bathed in light; feel the space about you full of beautiful, soft, white light.
3: Imagine that many beings of light are coming closer to join you. Feel their love and caring for you. Open your heart to receive them. Imagine the doorways opening between your reality and theirs. Imagine them creating a doorway for you.
4: Realize it is no coincidence that you are making this connection. See the whole chain of events that led you to this moment, the chance meetings, the books, and the changes that have already been occuring in your life. Your guide and the guides are aware of you and hold a special welcome for you as you join more closely with them.
5: Imagine that there is a doorway in front of you. On the other side of this doorway is a world of light, of higher vibration, and of accelerated growth for you. Go inward, into your heart, and ask yourself if you are ready to make a commitment to yourself and to your path of service. When you are ready, walk through this doorway.(If you are not ready at this time, it is ok if you choose to walk through it at another time) Feel the light pouring upon you, healing and cleansing you. Be aware that this is a very real doorway and that your life will begin to change after you walk through it.
6: There is a plan for mankind's evolution being broadcast by many high beings. Sit silently, and imagine you are tuning into this broadcast. Pretend that your energies are aligning with this plan, so that as your day goes by, everything you do will be going along with this plan.
7: Continue to adjust your posture as you go higher and higher. Ask for the highest guide and teacher who is aligned with you to come forward. Imagine that your guide, a special guide, is coming forward. Sense this guide, feel his or her love for you. Be open to recieve. Feel your heart welcoming this guide. Believe that this is really happening! Your imagination is the closest ability you have to channeling, and it is the easiest connection your guide has to you at first.
8: What does your guide look or feel like? Let impressions come in. Do NOT censor or judge the sensations, images, impressions, or imformation you are getting. Become familiar with this high feeling of your guide.
9: Greet your guide in your mind. Ask your guide if he or she is from the light. Affirm that you are asking for the highest possible guide who is aligned with your higher good and your spiritual path. You may want to talk to this guide until you are comfortable in allowing the guide to get closer to you. If you do not feel good about this guide, ask whether he or she has anything of value to impart to you, and ask him or her to leave! Ask again for a high, healing master teacher to come to you. When you feel good about a guide, go to the next step.
10: Ask your guide to begin doing all that he or she can to open the channel, now that you are commited and ready to verbally channel. Ask your guide to send a mental message if there is anything further that you need to do to verbally channel.
11: When you have these messages, thank all the beings of light and feel their appreciation for you. Thank your guide, and ask him or her to help you get ready to verbally channel. Say goodbye and come back slowly and easily to your normal reality. You have now made a connection with the guide you will verbally channel!
Evaluation: If you were able to walk through the doorway, and if you were able to mentally sense and meet your guide, you are ready to verbally channel him or her.
If you were able to walk through the doorway but not able to sense or mentally talk to a guide, repeat this exercise at another time. Do Not go on to the next stage until you have mentally met and talked with your guide!
If you did not feel ready to walk through the doorway, do not go on to the next stage as well. Walking through the doorway and making a commitment to yourself are big steps, you need to be ready in order for you to move forward. When you do decide to go through the doorway, go back and repeat this exercise until you establish a good mental connection to your guide!
