0: Represents the circle of life.  The two sides represent ascent and descent, evolution and involution.  The ultimate mystery, the absolute, the unlimited and the eternal.
 
1: Is condiered a primordial unity.  The beginning, the Creator, the First Cause.  One is the sum of all possiblities.  It is essence, the Center.  One springs forth upsurges.  It represents beginnings and renewal.
 
2: represents duality, the coming together of opposites.  It is rooted, seen as balance, stability, reflection.  Represents the two fold strength symbolizes by two of anything, usually in history, by animals in pairs.
 
3: it's roots stem from the meaning of multiplicity, creative power and gorwth.  Three is amoving forwrd of enregy, expression, manisfestation and synthesis.  Three is the first number to which the maning "all" was given.  The powr of three is universal and is the tripartite nature of the world as heaven, earth and waters...........body, mind and spirit...........pat, present, future...................such as a triangle.
 
4: four is seen as the first solidnumber.  It is wholenss, totality, completion.  It represents earth and order.  It is seen as representing foundation, rational, relativity and jsutice.
 
5: Five is the pentagon, a symbol of change.  The numbre five symbolizes an evolving spirituality.  It represents the five senses as well as the psychical extensions of the five senses.
 
6: Six representsharmony, balance and love.  It is the perfect number withn the decad.  Six is the symbol ofluck, health, beauty and chance.
 
7: Seven is the number of the universe.  Seven represents development of the soul.  In all cultures, myths and legends we find the meaning of seven to be completeness and totality, macrocosm, perfection, plenty, reintegration, rest, security, safety and synthesis.
 
8: Spirituallity eight is th goal of the initiate, having gone through the seven stages.  The octagon is the beginning of hte transformation of the square into th circle and vice versa.  Eight in many cultures and ideologies seems to have similar meanings........felicity, perfect rythym, regeneration and resurrection.
 
9: Nine is composed of all the all, powerful 3 x 3.  It is the Triple Triad.  It represents completion, fulfillment, attainment, beginning and the end, the whole number, a celestial and angelic number.  Nine is seen as an incorruptable numbr.  It is the number of the circumference, its division into 90 degrees and into 360 degrees for that entire circumference.  Nine is a symbolized by the two triangles that are a symbol of male, fire, mountain and female, water, cave perinciples.
 
The Cosmic and Mater numbers
10: Ten is the end of a phase and represents new beginnings.  It is the number of cosmos.  The decad contains all numbers and therefore all things possible.  It is the turning point of all counting.  Ten is seen a perfect, the return to unity.  Ten is also the number of completion.
 
11: In systems such as AStrology and numerology, eleven is considered a Master number....representing totality, completemess and new beginnings. 
 
12: The Duocad is a complete cycle, cosmic order.  The 3 and 4 is both spiritual and temporal order, the esoteric and the exoteric.  There are 12 signs in the standard Zodiac, 12 months in a year, 12 hours of the day and night, 12 days of Yuletide and Christmas.
 
13: 13 is a number frequently used in divination.  In human history, 13 has been considered unlucky, but in spiritual circles 13 is considered a very auspious number. Jesus was one of thirteen.
