Fruit Specials 
 
Apple go round
Ingredients :
4 x Apple (firm)
1 cup Orange juice
4 tsp Lemon juice
4 tbl Raisins
4 tbl Celery
8 tbl Applesauce
4 x Lettuce leaf (optional)
Method :
Slice off top of apple; remove core.
Prick outside with sharp fork. Place apple in tall
narrow bowl.
Combine orange and lemon juice; pour over apple.
(Add extra water if apple is not covered.)
Marinate in refrigerator 4-5 hours. Combine raisins,
celery, and applesauce. Allow to mellow at room
temperature 2 hours. Chill thoroughly. Drain apple.
Cut apple into 8 sections, slicing almost to the bottom.
Fill with applesauce mixture. Place on crisp lettuce leaf.

Orange Juice Frostie Sticks
1 cup orange
1 cup cranberry juice or apple juice
Combine juices, pour mixture into four paper cups.
Cover with foil. Insert a popsicle stick in each; freeze.
Makes 4 frostie sticks.
 
Fruit Kabobs
1 tangerine
1 apple
1 banana
small cluster of grapes
Divide tangerine in sections.  Slice apple and banana. 
Remove grapes from stem.  Arrange fruit on 4 wooden
sticks.  Makes 4 kabobs.
 
Orange Whirls
Just blend one scoop of vanilla ice cream
or frozen yogurt for every 2 ounces of pure
Florida orange juice.
CHOCOLATE TREATS - The kids love these!
Cut the bananas into 3 inch pieces.
Place a ice block stick up each end of a banana piece.
Dip each banana piece into melted chocolate.
Place on a oven tray covered with grease-proof paper.
Freeze.
Once frozen wrap separately place in sealed plastic bag
so they don't dry out in freezer These never last long!
