Have a Great Day!!
How is everyone this morning?
Look at that date....19th.! ....this month is over 1/2-way finished all ready!
What are you up to today? Anything exciting?
I have "The Helper" with today........
We have 3 places, the last one being another new call, another one with 3 kids!...gawwwwwwwwwd!
We will manage....I hope I survive!...lol
I think I have tomorrow off....that very well may change by the time I get home later today, tho.
You know I have become so accustomed to working....that I really don't know how to act IF I have time off.....I bore real easily.
The "Walk" this a.m. was really nice...the air smelled so fresh...we had some rain yesterday & during the night, it appears..
There was a mild breeze....and we saw "nuthing"!...well except for about 20 "paper-delivery-guys"!
I really don't understand how they need so many people on the highways with vehicles...delivering newspapers?
I just heard them saying that today is Jeannie C. Rileys' birthday!
She is 61.
Remember "Harper Valley PTA"?
There really isn't a whole lot to tell around here this morning so I will hunt up a recipe for today & then get on my way.
Take care & have a wonderful day, whatever you have to do.

Penne with Gorgonzola and Mascarpone
INGREDIENTS:To serve 4:
- 14 ounces (400 g) penne
- 5 ounces (120 g) Gorgonzola Dolce (the milder Gorgonzola)
- 3 ounces (80 g) Mascarpone (a mild, very creamy cheese)
- 2/5 cup (100 ml) heavy cream
- 1/4 cup (50 g) unsalted butter, at room temperature (it should be soft)
- 1 tablespoon vodka
- Salt and white pepper to taste
PREPARATION:
Set pasta water to boil.
While it's heating, remove the rind from the gorgonzola and break the cheese up into little bits. Whirl the cheese in a blender, and when it is creamy add the mascarpone and the butter.
Season lightly with salt and pepper, whir again, and then add the cream and vodka. Check seasoning and lightly whir again.
Cook the pasta, gently stir the sauce into it, and serve at once.
variation: - 1/2 pound (200 g) asparagus spears, or more if you want
- 1/4 pound (100 g) blue cheese instead of Gorgonzola
