RC Radio took the same approach, saying in their headline news that "Two Rangers fans convicted of assault on Lennon". They may well be Rangers fans, but I saw nowhere in any of the factual reporting of the evidence that mentioned Rangers anywhere.

 

It just seemed like another subliminal way of reintoriducing the sectarian element to the attack, which the court discarded as untrue.
