Hello Jeannette:

I am going to attach a series of links below that address the questions you have posed. First is an article on blood sugar issues that you may be experiencing when first quitting. Then is an link to a string that shows you how much longer-term quitters really think about smoking as time progresses. Then there are a series of articles that explain why smoking thoughts can still occur over time and the best ways to get them under control when they do occur. Hope this all helps to help you to understand what is happening and how to be able to stick to a new found commitment to never take another puff.

Joel

HI Jeanette,
i'm not even going to try to give you any advice...Joel has given you plenty of homework that is full of the best advice ever.
what I am goin to give you is a big(((((( hug))))))) and my promise that it does get better and easier....and I've only been quit for a little over 6 weeks...so you know it won't be too long.
IT's so worth it. Freedom is wonderful...both the site and the way of life.
hang in there, you can do it.
