Jupiter'ssymbol is lightening  bold of the Greeks and Romans king of the Gods, Jupiter has been looked on traditionally as the father figure, a mixture of protector and king.  He is board -of -directors type noted for  his wealth, good naturen, and for being the luckiest among the "lucky stars."  (In astrology the terms "stars and "plantets : can be used interchangeably.)  Jupitor takes over when we reach our fifties, the age of maturity.  The jovial planet---from his name, Jove---whose chief qualities are expansion and preservation, is all virtue and can do no wrong.  Jupiter is regarded as the best of sacred seven.    Jupiters' day of the week is Thursday. In our bodies the planet has been said to rule organs, not all astrologers agreeing: liver, lungs, the blood, viscera, stomach and arms.  The Jovian types tend to get things in lit a bit too easily so may be bit greedy and careless; they also tend to talk big, sometimes.  Their favorite colrsa re green adn gray.  Depending n the planet's position in relation to other sky objects, Jupiter may rule quacks, cheats, drukards, but only wehn he is weak.  When strong, the planet produces judges and archbishops, and even a Pope every now and then.
