Where are you located?
Are there any bird sanctuaries in your area.  We have one here that's great in taking in and adopting out birds of all kinds.  I would hope there would be more places like that elsewhere.

I hope you can find him a good home.

<removed line>
Gracie is 4 years old and very healthy. Has never been sexed.
She (we call her a girl) is not doing anything bad and is a really nice bird.
The problem is my grandchildren are really allergic to her.
I did a test and took her to the sitter that I use when we go out of town. I
cleaned everything and then had the kids over and didn't have one hive or sniffle.
I have air cleaners, and there is no extra room to put her in my house is small. Believe me I tried everything.
I am really stuck between a rock and a hard place cause we all love her.
She talks up a storm and is such nice company for me when my husband is out of
town.
If anyone has any answers for me to how to sell her to a Safe and Happy home and
if is very important to sell her to a experenced bird lover. Like all Grey she goes thru
snotty times but it doesn't last long.
I did find out she hates it when I wear nail polish. OUCH!
But other than that she is a sweetie.
Thank You Please contact me asap
Sad Gracie's Mom

First, before letting her go, your grands should be tested by a dr to find if they are allergic or not, usually allergies do not show in single allergies, but multiples.  If they are allergic to Gracie, they probably have other allergies also.  To minimize reaction, make sure you have allowed Gracie a good soaking bath and lightly spray water over the papers in her cage to help with the dust before they come to your house.  My son is 34, severly alergic to about 30 different things, birds are one of them.  He doesn't come to my house to visit.
Hopefully, someone will be able to help find her a good home if you have to rehome her.

I'm in St. Louis MO. please try separation of your allergics from the bird; unless they live with you. good grief; how old are the allergic ones? they could possibly outgrow this? good luck... [email protected]

Thank you for your comments Sherr and Robyn.
we have all been tested for bird dander for allergies.3 of the kids have them out of the 5 that were tested. All had them for normal stuff like dust and grass etc. The 2 year old was the worst and he is here the most almost everyday.
I am his Mom's helper. I have tried giving her showers, spraying, and clean and changing her house from top to bottom everytime they are over. I talked to his dr about getting shots and pills. We have trying to solve this problem for over a year.
Thanks everyone
