I use Hagan Tropican Pellets, they have no
bad preservatives no artificial colors or flavors, and give 100% nutrition.. It
is a good thing Harley is Crazy about them because the only other food she will
eat is apples, grapes, and crackers. She is so picky, so about 80% of her diet
is Hagan. Otherwise she would not get all the nutrition she needs.. She
HATES seeds.. LOL. Picky girl.
If you are worried about CAG's needing extra
calcium, I put those flavored Calcium things, you can get at Wal-Mart, on the side of her cage to chew, and give her
one of those fish things once in a while. Help me here those white chalkie oval
things? Someone will know what I am talking about..
Harley will eat a little oatmeal sometimes. But
mostly she just wants her pellets, wood, and paper to play with.
Sassy my RLA, will eat anything we eat, and
demands Popcorn on occasion.. She probably gets about 45% Hagan, because she
likes to eat everything.. LOL.
I order Hagan from New York Bird Supply, I buy a
big bag and freeze it in Vaccume seal bags to save money...
