That really is a drag Abby!  When I visited my doctor in August for the gallbladder issue, they did a retest for my h pylori and the test came back negative.  So I guess the massive amounts of antibiotics and prilosec worked for me.  It is good they did the test to see what combination would work the best for you.  I hope they can find something that you aren't allergic to.  I'm really fortunate in that I have no known drug allergies at this time.  I've only had antibiotics four times in my life, so guess my body thinks they are okay.  Yes, Linda...it is a bunch of medication they use to get rid of h pylori.  I hope your mom can get rid of it the first round of medication!  Kathy
