At noon Don had out patient surgery on a large skin cancer on his nose.  It has been getting larger and larger over the last 6 months but the doctor couldn't do surgery until his platelet count came up a bit.

 

Today was the day.  He'll need to go back in a couple weeks for a skin graft to close "the defecit" as the doc called it because he started loosing too much blood.  We both agreed with the doctor it was best to stop while he was ahead of the game.

 

We were home by 4:00 and he feels pretty good except he's really cold so we have him bundled up in warm blankets.

 

I put a yummy dinner in the crock pot, so all
I need to do is serve it.  It's great when I plan ahead.  di
