Hello all!! I am the proud mama of 4 macaws. This is a pic of Hollywood, the GW I rescued from a horrible situation last year. He is 12 yrs. old and has feathered out beautifully. The next pic is Sarge (5 yrs. old military macaw I bought when he was a baby)) & Cleo ( 5 yr. old Catalina macaw) she also is a rescue bird and is probably the smartest of all them. And the last is Miss Molly Macaw 5 yr old B&G , she is a rehomed spoiled little girl who was treated like an infant in her first home. She was hand fed 3 to 4 times a day until the age of 3 when her owner became ill and could not care for here anymore We still have same issues we are working on with here but are slowly coming along. I also have 2 CAGS and 2 amazons. Quite a full house!! Marti |

Bless your heart for adopting her! I do so love the mysteries behind the rescue.... Angel-Rose has been in residence almost 8 months, and she's a trip! She's 5 now The latest, Sailor has 5 weeks under her wings... She's 16... but has made some good changes in this short time. |

Yes he is doing the ....back and forth head swing thing at me....BUT he screams at the top of his lungs at me and lunges forward as if he is going to bite me.....YES it scares the poo poo out of me so for now hubby is dealing with him till he seems to settle in a little bit.He will step up on hubbies arm and he doesn't show the same aggression towards him as he is with me ....I just sit and talk to him for now lol |

Macaw wise I have 5, 4 adult and 1 at 5 weeks old. A pair of B&G's ( Rainbow and Navajo ), a pair of Scarlets ( Sky Walker and Scrapper ) and a Scarlet female baby which I have been feeding from Day One and we are calling HER Fancy for short. Fancy will be ready for a new home around Christmas or so. I cant get over the differances between the macaws and the cockatoos as babies. |

Lots of envy goes out to you that are owned by these BIG birds! Unfortunately, I never could get comfortable with my short arm span and those huge beaks! Scritches from me...long distance!! Crystal |
