~~~~~~~~Third lesson on the case against Judah and Israel~~~~~~~ Our next lesson in this study will be done in Leviticus 26. As I studied this last night, God showed me something great; and I saw something so funny in this chapter that I laughed until I could laugh no more. I just love this Word of God. In the first 13 verses God tells the Israelites all the blessings he would give them if they obeyed Him. v9--For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you. v10--and ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new. Remember, Jesus said if they drink ‘old?wine, they do not want the new right away? Well, this is speaking of the two covenants. These people had to eat the old, because they could not accept the new. Remember, this was on the condition that they obey him and not serve idols. But they did not do this; so he did not establish his covenant with them. Verse 14 picks up with His telling them all the evil things he would do them for their disobedience. For the sake of ‘length?I will not type most of this; but if you desire to get the good of this lesson, go and study this on your own. Also, if you print this out and then study it, you will be able to reap good benefits. In v 16--he said .ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. This is speaking of their teaching their covenant-- it is all speaking of that old covenant, the law of Moses, all of the whole nation of Israel and all that pertains to it is this covenant of the OT. You will never understand until you see this. So, he said their seed, or word would not bear fruit; the NT is the enemies who will eat the good of the land. If you will read this it will do you a lot of good. v17--he sets their enemies to rule over them [the NT ruling]. Note v 18--and if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. After that first 7th time, v19--and I will break the pride of YOUR power,... v20--Your strength shall be spent in vain: [again telling them their labour is in vain] for your land [OT] shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. This shows that the old Covenant cannot bring forth fruit [or children] unto God; they are the ‘trees?of that land; they cannot bear fruit. This is borne out in Isaiah where they say we have wrought no deliverance. v21---He pronounces seven times more plagues on them. During this time he sends wild beasts among them and robs them of children and makes them few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate. This corresponds to when Jesus told them, Behold your ‘house?is left desolate. v23--And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, ... v24--I will punish you yet seven times for your sins. Now, this is the third time he has pronounced seven more plagues upon these people. What is this? Just think, where in the Word are thee sets of plagues mentioned? In Revelation, of course. See, when he placed their enemies to rule over them, this brought them into the NT. But, here they [old Jerusalem as that harlot church] still rebelled against the commandments of God [ those taught by the Apostles] ---[see they had already broken the commandments , the covenant given to them by Moses,, and now, they break the New commandments given to them by Paul.] So, at the end of this age, they are again found to be DESOLATE. They are again a whore against God. So he brings the seven seals against them. This does not reform them; so He sends the seven trumpets against them. This still does not correct them; for in Rev. it said for all this they did not repent of their sins; so then He send the seven vials upon them. v25--shows that he delivered them into the hand of the enemy [ the Apostles or NT]. Here is the funny part; at least to me; the way God worded this: v26--And when I have broken the staff of your bread, [showing there was no spiritual food left in that old covenant; as I have already shown]---ten women shall bake your bread in one oven,...... After He stopped any source of spiritual food from being in old Israel, or the old covenant---- he set ten women to baking them bread in one oven----- this is great---- those Israelites who thought women could not handle the Word of God~~~~~~~ are not being fed by ten women. --the rest of the verse------- and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied. So? what is this? Any ideas? Remember that Jesus said there would be two women in the field grinding out meal? Yes, there is always those twins: Jacob and Esau. {Spiritual talk]. They all bear twins. Numbers in the Scripture do not mean the digits we know; they have spiritual meanings. You need to see this to understand the Word. Remember Jesus said there were ten virgins? Five were wise--- and five were foolish. This is those two women grinding out the bread or meal--- they are at the mill grinding bread--- they prepare it in the spiritual ‘oven? the Word. So, there is an Esau Church = the old mystery Babylon = the old Jerusalem come forth as the whore church = enter the Catholic priesthood. Yes, they are old ancient Israel in disguise as I have already proven by the Word. They helped feed this group of rebels their polluted bread; but they got it out of the same New Testament writings which the wise virgin got her bread from. Her harlot daughters, the Protestant churches also joined into this delivering in scant measure, this polluted bread; baked in the same oven the wise virgin prepares bread in = the NT. See, you all know, that if you go to ‘church?you will be given a 30 minute sermonet, with a few words of distorted Scripture mixed in to deceive with; but you always go home empty. If you are in any way hungry for spiritual food, you will know this and the emptiness will naw at your soul. So, this is one of those women giving you food, but you eat and are not satisfied. The true church will also try to feed the sheep the pure Word or food. Most cannot even eat enough of this to ever be satisfied. What a shame!!!! But, it is the rebellious ones he is speaking to; they are the ones who never eat to their satisfaction. Jesus said if we come to him and eat and drink we will be satisfied and never thirst again. Better get to him and eat this good food. That is the only way to life. v27--And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me; v28--Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins. Here he is saying that if they do not hearken to these women and eat the pure food and obey him, he will bring those seven church ages on them. v29--and ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat. Now! What in the world is this? Any ideas? Look at the result of this eating of the flesh of their sons and daughters--- v30--and I will destroy your high places and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you. I am coming to something great in the next study. But now, look at Joel 2--- the prophecy that the sons and daughters would prophecy - or feed them bread. He sent them ’Elijah? John the Baptist, to turn their hearts to the sons and daughter = the NT ministers. We are bone of his bone; flesh of his flesh; except you eat the flesh of Jesus, you have no life in you. The wise virgin gives out the true ’bread? The ones who eat this shall live. But in the next study, we will see what happened to those who still rebelled and would not eat the ’flesh ?of the sons and daughters. Praise His Glorious Name. I love you Lord Jesus. Thank you for this Heavenly Bread. Jo ]]]]]]]] ]]]]]]]]] |
