~~ The Devouring Lion ~~

Eze 19:1 Moreover take thou up a lamentation for the princes of Israel, Eze 19:2 And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions. Eze 19:3 And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.

1pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Eze 19:4 The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt. Eze 19:5 Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion. Eze 19:6 And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men.

Eze 19:7 And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.

Mt 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Mt 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Adam, Satan, goes about as a roaring lion, devouring men. God hates their palaces (fancy churches), and will destroy them. Jesus pronounced her, Jerusalem, to be desolate. Satan has devoured her, with his noise, roaring, or lying preachers. They are the gates to hell.

Eze 19:8 Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit. Eze 19:9 And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.

Notice, the first time, (verse 4) that the nations took him in their pit, they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt. Adam’s kingdom was stopped at that time. But he picked right back up in another lion, or another move of his evil. That evil head was destroyed at Calvary. But that evil head (law; Adam; Satan) was healed. It picked right back up again, in the churches. This time the nations again spread their net over him and he was taken in their pit. This time they brought him to the king of Babylon. This time they silenced his evil voice for good. This time his voice will no more be heard upon the mountains of God’s Israel, the Saints of God. This time he is rooted up and destroyed by the roots. This will end the evil reign of Adam, Satan, and set up the kingdom rule of Jesus Christ on earth. That evil roaring lion will devour men no more.

Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

See here that the strangers, the terrible of the NATIONS set against him and took him in their net. This is the ministry of the Apostles and the end-time witnesses. We, (they), brought him down to the pit. They shut his mouth for good. See how perfectly this all fits together!

Eze 31:4 The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field. Eze 31:5 Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

Eze 19:10 Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.

See here that these are one and the same. IT is the kingdom of Adam or Satan. Kingdoms and nations, in Scripture, are referred to as a female, thus, SHE. This is the Mother, or the kingdom of Satan, which brought up these devouring lions.

Notice also the description of their pride, (exalted), and thick branches, and ruling over others. Adam sent out Cain. But Cain did not last. So then, he sent out many others to devour men and bring them into his bondage.

It continues all down through time, until at the end, when the strangers, the Christians, put him into the pit for the last time, and he will be heard no more. No more will his roaring, or screaming his lies, deceive men and devour them. See how she exalted her statue among the thick branches, (verse 19:11) and HIS height was exalted above all the trees of the field and his branches long because of the multitude of waters, or peoples.

See, this is the very same kingdom of old Adam, or Satan. All of this is about him or this evil kingdom of MAN. He is this devouring LION. His kingdom, or spirit, is this mother.

Eze 19:12 But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them. Eze 19:13 And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground. Eze 19:14 And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

Isa 47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate. Isa 47:2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. 47:3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man. 47:4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. 47:5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

Notice how this fits perfectly with the destruction and bringing down to the ground of the ‘mother�?in Eze 19. It is the very same old kingdom of Adam, Satan, or man. Notice that when God takes vengeance against this evil kingdom, that she is told to sit silent and get into darkness. This was the lady of kingdoms. It is the same one who brought up her devouring lions to rule over others.

This in Isa 47 fulfills the prophecy in Revelation 18, and Eze 19:12. The east wind which dried up her fruit is the return of the ministers of Christ. Those who are filled with the Holy Ghost and armed with God’s truth will destroy this evil kingdom forever. What a glorious day that will be!
