I thought I would paste this message back up here. I think what we need to do is study what Spirtual Baptism is. It is Biblical. Some do NOT know what it is. Therefore they do not believe it.  Tweety

Is Water Baptism necessary

Some are contending that Spirit Baptism and Water Baptism are one and the same thing, therefore water Baptism is not to be done. I am going to show you positive proof from the Word of God that this is NOT true. Now you can reject God's Word and go your way if you choose, but you will pay the price for doing so.

Acts 10: 30. And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31. And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32. Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

33. Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

34. Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35. But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37. That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

38. How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
39. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40. Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41. Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

42. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

44. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

47. Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48. And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Now, read that carefully. These Gentiles had already received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost (spirit baptism) -- - they had the very same evidence as the Jews --- that of speaking in tongues.

You must call the Book of Acts a lie to deny this.

But look - after they had received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, Peter COMMANDED them to be Baptized in WATER in the Name of Jesus Christ.

God has fixed it in His Word so that every 'question' is covered: every truth is covered; there is no excuse for anyone to miss truth. God will judge all who set themselves up above God to say different than what God said in His Word.

If Water Baptism is NOT a necessary part of Salvation, Peter would not have said, Can any forbid WATER that these should NOT be Baptized which HAVE RECEIVED THE HOLY GHOST AS WELL AS WE.

See, they had already received the Holy Ghost ; but still needed to be Baptized in Water in the Name of Jesus Christ. There is just no excuse for anyone to not see this. There will be no excuse for not obeying it on the judgment day. You will not be excused.

You are doing the same thing Peter warned against = denying WATER for those who have received the Holy Ghost or need to receive it to be Baptized in WATER in the Name of Jesus Christ.

I ask all of you -- why did not Peter say be baptized in the Name of the Father, the son, and the Holy ghost? Why? You need to find the answer.

Let us first look at what John the Baptist said about Baptism. We will be studying Matt. 3:11.

Matthew 3:11 (KJV)
3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
So we see by reading this one verse that John the Baptist would baptize with water.  But the person that he was speaking about that came after him. (Which was Jesus), John said that he was mighter than he was. And that Jesus Christ would Baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire. Now what does that mean? Surely you do not believe that Jesus Christ would be baptizing in water. So by this one verse we understand that there are 2 different types of Baptisims. One with Water and the Other with the Holy Ghost.  So we should search and study out the scriptures and see what this "Spirit Baptism" is.  Agreed? Tweety

The answer to your question is in the above verses.  See, this family of Cornelius, had received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as Peter preached to them.  They had the Holy ghost poured out unto them and had the very same experience as those in the upper room, had on the day of Pentecost.

These Jews with Peter knew that these Gentiles had received the Holy Ghost, the very same as they had,  FOR THEY HEARD THEM SPEAK WITH TONGUES.

The Spiritual baptism is when one received the Holy Ghost, as evidenced on both of these occasions, by SPEAKING IN OTHER TONGUES.

I read a few days ago, where some false teacher, who thinks that she has it all,  crossed the very prophecy of this glorious Baptism,  told of in Isa. 28,   "for with stammering lips and ANOTHER TONGUE will I speak to this people,  to whom he said,  this is the REST wherewith you may cause the weary  (those labouring under law)... to find REST."

This false teacher pointed to a definition of the word, Stammering,  which says that this means to mock, ridicule and laugh at,  to say this is the meaning  of the word,  'stammering'  here in Isa 28.

Now if ever I heard the total slaughter of God's truth, this is a good case of it.

Surely no sensible, right-thinking person, could believe that God said he will speak to these people by MOCKING, RIDICULING AND LAUGHING AT THEM,  and this is the REST TO THE WEARY??

Talk about false doctrine!  That takes the cake.  It is lies of the deluded ones, who go around pretending to have some great revelation.

Well, this is the true Baptism of the Holy Ghost, which is spiritual baptism, by which we are baptised into the body of Christ.......but please notice......that the TWO ARE ONE.

These two  (only in our minds)  baptisms must be together to make up this baptism into the body of Christ....for until your sins are remitted, via this water baptism, in Jesus' name,  you will not be placed into the body of Christ,  rest assured.

I want to point out something, here, that God has only recently revealed to  about the baptism mentions in Matt. 28:19 and that in Acts.

We go deeper and deeper into truth, but it always confirms the truth we already have.  When and if, you believe something, and it crosses something you think you already had, then something is wrong.  truth never does this.

See, at the time that Jesus spoke the words to them, in Matt. 28,  He still had not ascended to Heaven and been given all power in heaven and earth, to rule as God, upon the throne of God.
Until that time, which is recorded in Rev. 5, Jesus was still under the authority of his Father, and not the one in headship ruling authority.

Jesus was made the HEAD over man until that time in heaven, when God said for the world and everything in heaven or earth, to worship his SON.

This is the time when God began his seventh day REST.  He did not REST until he set his SON, JESUS, to RULE the universe, as God.

So up until that time, it was the Holy Spirit at work.  It was God's spirit as sole ruler on this earth.  Jesus was NOT there, doing that work of ruling.  He was still, in his lifetime, here, being tried and proven,  if he would be true to God and not rebel and set himself up in pride, as Adam had done before him.

Adam forfited his place as the one to be set up to rule on God's throne, by usurping that authority himself.

God cast him out because of this sin.  But Jesus never did that thing.  Jesus did not try to set himself up as God, no matter if this entire world does teach this lie.

Jesus waited until God did it.  God set Jesus up on God's throne to rule as God.  So then, God RESTED.  God is still in his seventh day REST.

He was working on saturday, when Jesus was on earth.  So the false cult of adventism, has deceived this world, and kept them from being able to see these truths.

So, at the time Jesus spoke Matt. 28, he was still on earth, still not yet ascended to the throne of God.  still not the headship over man.

God set Jesus up as the HEADSHIP over man, the day he took that book out of the Father's hand and set down on the throne of  God.  THEN.....and only then......

did people begin to do things,  all things,  even baptism.....in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST......FOR.....IN THE NAME OF......MEANS THE AUTHORITY BY WHICH A THING IS DONE.

We are to do all things in the NAME OF JEUS CHRIST, FOR HE IS NOW THE HEADSHIP OVER MAN.

But Jesus was under the HEADSHIP OF GOD, AND HAD TO HONOUR GOD, WHEN HE SPOKE A THING.

He spoke Matt. 28 in the name of or authority of the Father.

Peter spoke acts 2 in the name of Jesus Christ, or under his authority.

Jesus did not set himself up as the HEAD.  God did that.

Jesus did not exhalt himself.  God did that.

So for foolish men to sling out sneering, that the words in Matt 28:19,  are only titles and a mess of titles or trinity,  IS THE SHEEREST OF EVIL JUNK AND DECEPTION I HAVE EVER HEARD.

People show their own foolish minds and spirits when they make such rash and evil statements.  Flee these wolves.  They have no connection with the Spirit of the Holy Ghost.

We now have the HOLY GHOST working in this world.  It is the Spirit of Jesus Christ, sent to us, in the power of God.  It is also the Spirit of God, the father, as they are now united into a ONENESS of being.  The Holy Ghost represents both the father and the son.  It is marriage.

Is your msn messing up today?  Mine is so bad, I tried about         30 or more times to get a reply thinggie.  it took me many, many tries, to do one welcome.
It is just disgusting.  why do they seem to mess Bottf up so much?  Satan must really hate this site and he keeps sending in his army to try to tear it down.

Everytime I look at another site, from the MSN list,  all I see is jokes, devotionals, and such.  Nothing there to feed the soul.

I was reading in Acts a while ago.  It was such a blessing to me, as I watched the moving of the Holy Ghost in their lives,  I just cried and cried, and praised the Lord.  How I long to see a group of Holy Ghost filled people once again showing this world the true Power of God in action.

Why would anyone desire to settle for a dead, lifeless religion, when the very presence of God and his angels is available to us all?

Now I will see if I can send this.  It is just too time consuming and aggrevating to work when it is acting this bad.  It is worse today, than I have seen it in a very long time.  You sure better save everything before you hit that send button.
