Has anyone read the Gospel of Thomas? I believe after reading it-that it to be true. I suggest members read the Gospel of Thomas and see if in fact that gospel to be true. This link is good for the whole reading. Tweety |

2. Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all. [And after they have reigned they will rest.]" There is no Scripture which says when they find, they will be disturbed. This is definitely ADDING to Scripture and changing it. Jesus said the truth shall set you free and give you his peace. No Scripture links being disturbed with reigning over all, nor that they will have to wait until after they have reigned to find rest. this is also adding to the Word and changing it to make a lie. It is false as can be. |

their next statement: 3. Jesus said, "If your leaders say to you, 'Look, the (Father's) kingdom is in the sky,' then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, 'It is in the sea,' then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father's) kingdom is within you and it is outside you.
Notice the 'added' words here... Not one single word of this stuff is in Scripture. Nowhere did Jesus say such things, as, then the fish will precede you. Where? Tweety, if you think this stuff is true, please show me the above words in the KJV. I tell you, it is not there. Nowhere did Jesus say the kingdom is outside you. Where? Where did he say, then the birds will precede you? It is lies. No, not one word of this stuff is true to the Word of God. Why do you believe so much which is NOT WRITTEN IN SCRIPTURE? |

Their next statement: When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves, then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty." 4. Jesus said, "The person old in days won't hesitate to ask a little child seven days old about the place of life, and that person will live. For many of the first will be last, and will become a single one."
Again, not one word of the above is in the Word of God. all of this JUNK is just made up stuff, twisting and changing the words of Jesus. He never said anything about asking a seven day old child about the place of life, and that will make the person live. such foolishness. He did not say many of the first will be last and will become a single one. where is that is Scripture? It is NOT. Where is one word in Scripture about when you know yourself you will be known? Not there. Neither is that if you do not know yourself you will be povety to yourself. This is NOT THE WORD OF GOD. It is LIES> why did you believe this junk is truth? I admonish you to pray for the spirit of TRUTH to be given to you. |

Their next statement: 5. Jesus said, "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. [And there is nothing buried that will not be raised.]"
OK, so you think this stuff is truth...then show me that in Scripture. None of the above is written in God's word. see how they added, "nothing buried that will not be raised". that is not in the Word. None of the above is in God's word. it is all made up JUNK. I have gone right down their page. taken in every word, so far. Not one thing there is written in God's word. Do not add to HIS words, lest he add the plagues of the book to you, and find you a liar. This junk called the gospel of thomas is just that, added JUNK. I have not found one true statement in it yet. If you have, please show it to me. show me what you found that you think is truth. All of the above is so foreign to the pure Word of God, that it stinks! Tweety, do you ever read the Word of God? why would you accept such pukie junk, as the above, to be TRUE? WHY? I do not have time for all of this. I have only read down a short bit, but every word of this stuff is lies. Not one of the above statements is written in Scripture. Now since you came in here telling us that this stuff is true, please take one of their statements, and prove it to be true, by showing the exact statements in the KJV. No such things are said in the true Word of God. I am concerned about your spiritual wellfare. Why do you accept so much which is not in the KJV, which you claim to believe, to be true? I showed you that ever word of Dakes, in that post I quoted here, that none of it is written in Scripture, yet you just ignore that thread and will not deal with it? WHY? Are you not concerned with really learning God's truth? why would you come to the unreasonable conclusion, here, that this false mess is true? WHY? Tweety, I have read some more of it. It is so far-fetched and twisted and of the devil, that I am totally amazed that anyone could think this junk to be true. Sister, I do hope you will learn to study the true Word AND compare all others to it. this is such junkie false witness against Jesus.... it is trying to say that Jesus taught all this junk, which is exactly opposite of what he taught us in His word, in secret behind closed doors. I do not intend to take it all and show it, but I can tell anyone who reads this, that it is totally incredible at how badly the words of Jesus have been twisted in this junkie, fake 'gospel', to try to say that Jesus taught foolishness in secret. I truly do not know words strong enough to describe the filthy lies in this fake 'gospel'. But I can say with total assurance, that Jesus, the true Jesus, do not teach any such junk. |

Dear Tweety, "They" who? Who said it should have been in the bible? Not sound right? That is an understatement for sure. If 'they' did not know the real Word of God any more than that, they would do much better to stay completely 'out of it'. Now, If you will, kindly find one thing in all of that junk and show me what you consider to be true. If it were the true Word of God, it would match all the rest of the Word of God. That is the sure 'testing' grounds for all teachings and words. If it is not written in the Scripture, and if it contradicts the other Scripture, then it is most certainly a fake and the work of satan. this fake 'gosple' is certainl from Satan, and no other source. |

Freeborn, The Manuscript that the Gospel of Thomas was found to be written during the time of Jesus Christ. So scholars say that the manuscript could actually be an account of what Jesus said. Tweety |

what 'scholars'? Why do you listen to all this garbage? Every tom, dick, and harry which comes along has a 'new revelation' of some sick old book which is supposed to be the Word of God. the guilibles believe it. Anything some 'scholar' is supposed to have said is believed by those who have no truth. Those with the spirit of truth know that it is not true. God has given us his Pure Word and it is all we need. Anything else, which does not agree fully with what is written, is false as can be, no matter how many junk 'scholars' declare otherwise. those so-called 'scholars' are all just men of corrupt minds, trying to show themselves to be god and something above the average person. Not so! God said we would be all taught of God. that is those under grace. Not a single one of us cannot be taught of God. But the 'lifted-up ones' would have us believe they are something 'special' who know what is God's word and what is not. You are missing everything i am saying. Not one single word of that stuff matches the Holy KJV. It is contrary to all that Jesus did say. so that proves to me it could not be true. I have given you some of the stupid, junkie words of that stuff. why not take at least one of them and prove it with the KJV? Why do you continually ignore the solid proof which I keep giving you that all this man-made doctrine and words is just false and of the devil? Tweety, please take the time to read My Message, Warning, Danger Ahead, which I just moved to the Word Board, as soon as possible. Tonight, Sept. 3, 2007, you and I were discussing the fake gospel of Thomas. You are thinking it is true, but there is no way it could be true, for it is opposite of what the true Word of God does say. After I wrote the last post to you, I decided to go back into some back pages and maybe move one or two before getting off. I really need to get up and ready for bed. But something seemed to move me to take a little more time and go back into a back page. I moved back about 4 or maybe 5 pages at once without stopping to look. then I stopped and went straight to this message. As I sat and read it again, before moving it to the Word Board, I was truly astonished at what this says. I truly had forgotten ever writting this. It is exactly perfect as a warning to you for what we are now discussing, that of believing this false gospel, just because some fake 'scholar' says a thing. They are workers of Satan, not of God. So I feel 100% sure that God moved on me to bring this back up for your attention. See that I wrote this in 2006. So it fits what we are saying tonight. It had to be God for me to go straight to this and it is the only one I looked at, and do not intend to do any others right now, as I am just too tired. Take this to heart. Read it real good. try to learn from it, learn how to find truth and life. see if you can do it. see if it gives you understanding. Tweety, and all others who might read this. I wish to give you important, spiritual warning. Listen! Do not lay this admonition aside! It is so important. You are not on solid ground yet, you are not rooted and established yet, into the real truth of God....so it is very, very dangerous to your understanding and the hope of ever coming to truth, to mess around, reading all such junkie doctrines, myths and legends as is posted everywhere on the internet. And if you decide to pick up books, they are also full of man's distorted and made up junk, which will only serve to mix you up even more. When you are not established and deep into the truth of the Holy Book of God, known to us as the KJV, then reading all these other myths and false teachings will only serve to lead you further into the darkness and error of the carnal mind. This will make it allmost impossible for you to ever come into the real truth, which will save your soul. Hear me! I am no mixed up, twisted up, carnal woman. I know what I am speaking of, no matter how many attempt to destroy the truth which GOD has given to me. God has taught me. He gave me his truth. When you read other materials, besides the Holy Word, it will get into your mind and cause you to lean further and further into the side of make-believe darkness or myths and legends. Then you will not ever be able to get into the real truth of Scripture. those Gnostic books are not truth nor are they Scripture. If you continue to search around and find all this kind of stuff, instead of studying the Scripture, you will destroy your own soul. If you seek, you shall find. ....so if you seek foolishness and myths and way-out darkened wonderings of the carnal minded, you will certainly find more than enough of it to destroy you forever. But if you stop seeking all such man-made myths and study only the Scripture, honestly seeking to learn the truth here, then you will find eternal life. Warning!
