Fifteen Classes the Law Was Made For:

Which One BEST DESCRIBES YOU?

1. Lawless-Greek: anomos (NT:459), contempt for law; no rule of moral conduct. Translated "lawless" (1 Tim. 1:9); "without law" (1 Cor. 9:21); "unlawful" (2 Peter 2:8); "transgressor" (Mark 15:28; Luke 22:37); and "wicked" (Acts 2:23; 2 Thes. 2:8).

2. Disobedient-Greek: anupotaktos (NT:506), not under subjection; undisciplined. Translated "disobedient" (1 Tim. 1:9); "not put under" (Hebrews 2:8); and "unruly" (Titus 1:6,10).

3. Ungodly-Greek: asebes (NT:765), irreligious (1 Tim. 1:9; 1 Peter 4:18; 2 Peter 2:5; 2 Peter 3:7; Jude 1:4,15).

4. Sinners-Greek: hamartolos (NT:268), transgressors of law. Translated "sinner" 41 times and "sinful" (Mark 8:38; Luke 5:8; Luke 24:7; Romans 7:13).

5. Unholy-Greek: anosios (NT:462), totally depraved; the utter opposite of holiness within and without. Only here and 2 Tim. 3:2.

6. Profane-Greek: bebelos (NT:952), not fit to attend public worship (1 Tim. 1:9; 1 Tim. 4:7; 1 Tim. 6:20; 2 Tim. 2:16; Hebrews 12:16).

7. Patricides-Greek: patraloas (NT:3964), those who strike or slay their father. Only here.

8. Matricides-Greek: metraloas (NT:3389), those who strike or slay their mother. Only here.

9. Murderers-Greek: androphonois (NT:409), those who take any human life contrary to law. Only here.

10. Whoremongers-Greek: pornois (NT:4205), male prostitutes (see Five Classes Not to Inherit God's Kingdom).

11. Sexual perverts-Greek: arsenokoitais (NT:733), those guilty of unnatural sexual practices (note, 1 Cor. 6:9; see Five Classes Not to Inherit God's Kingdom).

12. Menstealers-Greek: andrapodistais (NT:405), kidnappers; those who steal slaves and sell and buy them, or who hold men for ransom. Only here.

13. Liars-Greek: pseustais (NT:5583), saying for truth what is known to be false (1 Tim. 1:10; John 8:44-45; Romans 3:4; Titus 1:12; 1 John 1:10; 1 John 2:4,22; 1 John 4:20; 1 John 5:10).

14. Perjurers-Greek: epiorkois (NT:1965), those who lie under oath. Only here.

15. Those guilty of any vice contrary to sound doctrine (1 Tim. 1:10; Galatians 5:21).

The modern day 'law keepers' say that they have been made rightous, first by the grace of Jesus, but then must go back to the law of moses to keep that righteousness. What saith the Word of God about this? >>.

1ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is NOT MADE for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

And if those So-Called Sabbath Keepers would read the WORD of GOD, then they would know that they are wrong in what they think. And then that would prove that man or women that they follow is wrong. And they would rather make GOD look and sound wrong, than their precious teacher. That is the way it is.

The reason why Timothy says the law is NOT for a Righteous man is because the righteous are NOT against God's law. The thread by Mr. Dake pretty much points out WHO is under the penalty of God's righteous law. The first plainly showing that if we teach 'LAWLESSNESS' ( saying there is no law) it is teaching against God's commandments.

1Jo 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

No human is perfect. No human is able to keep the Commandments perfectly. BUT! that does not nullify God's Commandments. It only shows how man without God's Spirit cannot and will not submit to God's ways. A human without God's Spirit is CARNAL MINDED. God tells us that the carnal mind is against His laws.
Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be

SIN is the transgression of the law.......I John 3:4. Thank God for His Son who died in our stead so that we can be justified from SIN. However, that's not the end. It's only the beginning. After justification comes a life of submission to God. God desires OBEDIENCE from His children.
Jam 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law [are] just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Dovey, none of us are advocating sinning and disobeying God's laws. Why do you think that? We live a Holy And Godly by the Spirit of God which he has given to us. It does not take 'law' to make us obey God.

His commandments are not those TEN written and engraven on stone. God 's law existed long before Moses gave us the LAW. 11Cor 3 declares that God abolished that law written on stone. Why do you not read this and ask God for His Truth? It is there, plainly written in Scripture.

Don't you know that Paul had to have some reason for the many, many places he wrote to us not to go be under law? and why did Peter tell the church, in Acts 15, NOT TO GO BACK TO THAT LAW OF MOSES? Have you never one time considered this? You really should. Eternal life depends on getting this right. Do you think that they did not know the truth?

Why would God himself abolish that, if it is his way of life? It is not.

You need to learn the difference in.....law was given by Moses, but
Grace and Truth, came by Jesus Christ.

Why this contrast here? Have you ever considered this?

Jesus gave us God's words. Moses gave them law. There is a vast difference.

So answer me this. I have asked it before, without an answer. So please answer this. Have you obeyed the COMMANDMENT given in Acts 10?

If not, why not? This is the NT COMMANDMENT, BY WHICH GOD REMITS SINS.

if you choose to go by that law of Moses, written and engraven on STONE, then you must also kill animals and offer their blood to God, because GOD'S WORDS DECLARES IN HEBREWS 10, THAT THE LAW REQUIRES ANIMAL BLOOD. Do you?

that old covenent, the Ten, is only sanctified by the blood of animals. If you studied the Word of God, you could easily find this.

Jesus said, SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES, FOR IN THEM YOU THINK YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME.

Does the old covenant testify of Jesus? Not at all.

Do you obey that COMMANDMENT, to search the SCRIPTURES.....not some man/woman's writtings.?

Have you obeyed the COMMANDMENT given to NT Believers in Acts 10?
If not, your sins have not been remitted and that is why you think we all still sin.

Love Jo
