Eric, dearest, Yes I read John 10:34-38. I answered this on the other thread. God was speaking of the angels He used in the OT times to carry the Word to his Prophets. I have a full message proving this in here somewhere. I studied this out many years ago and proved this with plenty of Scripture.
I was under a man who used this Scripture to try and say people today are gods. That is a lie of Satan.
Now the Holy Ghost is the power of God which he has sent into the hearts of his true children, who obey Acts 2:38. This is the only conditions by which one is promised the Holy Ghost.
The Holy Ghost is God's spirit which we now have in our lives. He is in all who have sought him, obeyed him and live a sanctified life. The HG is the means of anointing God's witnesses [us] with Power. It is the power of God for us today.
He is in my heart. I conmune with him everyday.
He talks to me and explains the Scripture to me.
He even tells me when someone is lying to me. He gives me discerning of the spirits inside certain people, sometimes even on this computer.
He also lets me know when to pray for someone and when not to pray. When it came time for my Mother to die, He let me know this and therefore I did pray against God's will. At an earlier time, when she had a stroke, everyone thought she would die then, but I told them no.
God let me know she would recover that one, and she did.
Read the KJV. It will explain all of this to you.
